Bombardier have announced a range extension of 300 nm to the Global 7000 business jet, making it the longest range business jet in the marketplace currently.
The announcement made at ABACE, gives the Global 7000 the capability to fly New York to Hong Kong and London to Sao Paulo. Both the 650ER and the 7000 are now very closely matched and with this level of head to head competition it will not be long before we see range numbers in excess of 8,000 nm.
Bombardiers Global 7000 can be purchased for $72.8m whilst the G650ER comes with a price tag of $64.5m.
