The Hawker 900XP mid-size jet is based on the original DeHavilland DH125 jet that was developed in the early 1960’s. When Hawker Siddeley bought DeHavilland the aircraft was designated the HS125. This aircraft has evolved through many variants including the Hawker 700, 800, 1000 and 900.

Known for being a very engineered, robust aircraft the Hawker jet range sold well in US and European markets to both civilian and military operators.

In its business jet configuration the Hawker 900XP will typically allow 8/9 passengers to fly circa 2,500 nautical miles at a cruise of around 420 knots. This allows easy transfer between city pairs such as London – Cairo, New York to Los Angeles and Cape Town to Nairobi.
