This is the largest business jet in the Embraer stable. Based on the EMB190 airframe, the Lineage offers excellent cabin comfort for up to 19 passengers in a cabin reminiscent of a small airliner. The cabin is divided up into 5 sections with options including separate bedroom, dedicated washroom and a luggage accessible from the cabin. Its baggage hold is capable of storing 443 cubic feet, eclipsing the competition. The Lineage has a larger cabin than any of its competitors in this class though cannot compete on range. Embraer have taken the EMB190 and fitted additional fuel tanks in the hold of the aircraft allowing range of up to 4500 nautical miles.

Powered by two General Electric CF34-10 E engines producing 18500lbs thrust each, the Lineage will cruise at maximum 481 knots. For an aircraft of this stature field performance is excellent requiring 6660ft (around 2000 metres) to operate.

Avionic are provided by the Honeywell Primus Epic suite.

Production of the Lineage is not high with on average 3 aircraft produced a year since 2009.

The Lineage is a great aircraft for corporate private jet requirements who need to fly for 9-10 hours to attend a conference, meeting etc. It is also an extremely useful private jet for use on music tours and film premiere requirements where cast and entourage need to fly together across the world visiting mutiple cities.
