Helicopters allow point-to-point air transport and are broadly divided into Single Engine helicopters and Twin engine helicopters.

Singles are a little more restricted under commercial rules in that we cannot operate at night or in bad weather with a single engine heli. Twin engine IFR helicopters are able to operate in a wide range of conditions including night and low visibility.

Helicopters range in size from 4 seat singles, to 16 seat twin engine. Range is typically between 150nm and 350nm and cruise speeds vary from 90 knots at the bottom end to 150 knots in something like an August 109S.
